Public Safety Land Mobile Radio Road Map - This foldout is designed as a road map for public safety agencies that have decided to develop or replace a private LMR system. It gives an overview of the system development process that starts with very early planning and ends with system operation and maintenance.

Communication Funding Awareness Guide - Identifies the funding issues facing public safety interoperability and provides several funding strategies for public safety communications.

Public Safety and Wireless Communications Interoperability Booklet - The booklet provides a definition for public safety interoperability, progress currently being made, and identifies the remaining challenges.

Interoperability Continuum - The Interoperability Continuum is designed to help the public safety community and local, tribal, state, and federal policy makers address critical elements for success as they plan and implement interoperability solutions. These elements include frequency of use of interoperable communications, governance, standard operating procedures, technology, and training/exercises.

Statewide Communication Interoperability Planning (SCIP) Methodology - The SCIP is based on the recently completed Commonwealth of Virginia strategic plan. SAFECOM believes the Virginia planning process can be useful in the development of other statewide strategic plans because it describes a process that builds support at all levels of government. Therefore, SAFECOM developed the Statewide Communications Interoperability Planning (SCIP) methodology as an effective model that other states may adapt to their particular needs.
